An Epic Adventure

After seeing the ferry from the beach, Lucas and in decided to investigate what port it might call home.

We set out with plenty of water, and food, but also a thirst for a most epic adventure.

Our journey took us to the fabled streamship terminal, yet we found not a trace of Victorian era stream powered cog-work constructions in our travels.

We followed a winding and mysterious path.

It was at this point my traveling companion succumbed to the deepest of deep sleeps.

Though he remained by my side, I traversed the harbor...alone.

The mist was closing in around us.

I feared the same sleep that took my brave companion would take me.

Sleep...

We retreated back through the mysterious path, back to the safety from which we'd come.

Great read and now I'll have a copy for when the EMPs send us into a technological dark age.

A Day to Wear Shorts

I'm out of work.

Planning to do as little as I can around the house.

It's currently over sixty degrees.

I declare today, this day, April 3rd, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Seventeen, the official first day to acceptably wear shorts, and by royal decree usher forth an end to winter for the next handful of months pending, of course, the inevitable global ice age.

Deltron Writing Session

Wrote very well today. I owe it to two key factors:

1. Didn't play any video games.

2. Deltron 3030 and the not as commercially successful but surprisingly good sequel, Event 2.

I for one am quite happy with the results and have made substantial progress in the second novella.

In other news I'll be submitting the first novella very soon.

Merry Christmas!

The bro and I did the our It's a Wonderful Life viewing early on account of family obligations during the holidays. Went to the Christmas Eve service with the wife and kid. Feeling very fulfilled with the conclusion of 2016. Looking forward to tomorrow and the start of a new year's

"What's the secret?"

"Naturally, I'll say it's the wine."

"Mmm, it does go well with the chicken."

"Delicious again, Peter."
